Axtell Homecoming Candidate Announced

Below is a list of demographic and achievement information about each of the candidates:

Kendra Holthaus is the daughter of Richard and Carol Holthaus.  Through high school, Kendra has been or will be involved with volleyball (4 years), basketball (4 years), Choir (4 years), Honor Roll (4 years), National Honor Society (2 years), Jr./Sr. Class Play (2 years), FCCLA (2 years), ACSC (1 year).  Following high school, Kendra plans to attend Kansas State University to major in pre-Veterinary Medicine with future plans to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University.

Kelsey Olberding is the daughter of Lauretta and Keith Olberding.  Through high school, Kelsey has been or will be involved with volleyball (4 years), basketball (4 years), Track (3 years), Honor Roll (3 years), Show Choir (3 years), Jr./Sr. Class Play (2 years), Regionals for Trio (2 years), and Cheerleading (1 year).   Following high school, Kelsey plans to attend Washburn University to major in Nursing.

Audrey Schmitz is the daughter of Joe and Amy Schmitz.  Through high school, Audrey has been or will be involved with Cross Country (4 years), Track (4 years), Scholars Bowl (4 years), Forensics (4 years), Band/Choir (4 years), FFA (4 years), Student Council (3 years), National Honor Society (2 years), 4H (12 years), Piano (13 years), Dance (16 years), and the Jr./Sr. Play (1 year).  Following high school, Audrey plans to attend Kansas State University to major in Ag Communications and Animal Science, focusing on a career in Agricultural Promotion and/or the Dairy Industry.

Taylor Platt is the son of Trent and Diana Platt.  Through high school, Taylor has been or will be involved with football (4 years), basketball (4 years), track (4 years), FFA (4 years), Choir (4 years), Select Choir (4 years), Band (3 years), FCCLA (2 years), Forensics (3 years), School Play (4 years), Community Theater (3 years), Student Council (3 years), FBLA (2 years), and Big Brothers/Big Sisters (3 years).  Following high school, Taylor plans to attend college and major in Criminal Justice.

Aaron Schmelzle is the son of Loren and Amy Schmelzle.  Through high school, Aaron has been or will be involved with football (4 years), basketball (4 years), track (4 years), National Honor Society (2 years), ACSC (2 years), FCCLA (2 years), FBLA (1 year), Honor Roll (3 years), FFA (1 year), Scholars Bowl (2 years).  Following high school, Aaron plans to attend a 4-year University to major in a Scientific Field.

Brandon Smith is the son of Tom & Mary Smith.  Through high school, Brandon has been or will be involved with Student Council (4 years), FBLA (2 years), Scholars Bowl (1 year), FFA (1 year), Choir (3 years), United For Youth Representative (1 year), and the Jr./Sr. Play (2 years).  Following high school, Brandon plans to attend Southeast Community College in Lincoln to major in Entrepreneurship.
