Washington County Couple Receive Maximum Penalties

Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt has announced that a Washington County couple has received maximum sentences for child sex crimes.  Troy Jerald Fencil, age 40 of Greenleaf, was sentenced to 218 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections.  He pleaded guilty last month to charges of aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated indecent liberties, and sexual exploitation of a child.  Virgina Fencil, age 30 and also of Greenleaf, was sentenced to 137 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections.  She pleaded no contest to one count of aggravated criminal sodomy and two counts of aggravated endangerment of a child.  Judge Kim W. Cudney handed down the sentences in Washington County District Court on Wednesday.
