Two vehicle accident near Wymore sends 3 to hospital

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office worked a 2 vehicle accident last Thursday night shortly after 10 p.m.  It happened on Highway 77 and Walnut Street near Blue Springs.  Lisa Wickwire of Beatrice, age 24, was southbound on 77 when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck a trailer that was being towed behind a Chevy Tahoe that was driven by Anthony Thomas of Wymore, age 48.  Wickwire’s vehicle continued across the highway and came to stop in the east ditch.  Thomas’ vehicle, which rolled once, also wound up in the east ditch after the trailer came unhitched.  Wickwire was taken to Bryan LGH west in Lincoln.  Thomas and his passenger, Jeannie Thomas, age 44 of Wymore, were taken to the Beatrice Hospital.  Air bags did deploy and everyone was wearing their seatbelt.
