Community Memorial Healthcare (CMH) has joined the 55PLUS program, a service
of BryanLGH Medical Center in Lincoln, NE. CMH and BryanLGH Medical Center are affiliated with
Heartland Health Alliance (HHA). HHA is a network of urban and rural hospitals that brings health
care services to the people of Nebraska and Kansas. As a member of the Heartland Alliance, CMH
can participate in the BryanLGH 55PLUS program.
55PLUS is a comprehensive program of health related services for people age 55 and older. 55PLUS
offers a unique array of benefits designed to provide members with resources to maintain a healthy
and active lifestyle, and to provide additional help in the event you need health care services. 55PLUS
benefits include: educational seminars; 55PLUS newsletter for health information; travel opportunities;
social events; discounts at cafeterias and shops at BryanLGH; and more. Best of all, it costs nothing
to join, and its services are offered on a complimentary basis or as special 55PLUS membership
opportunities.
As part of the 55PLUS program, CMH will sponsor monthly luncheon specials (55PLUS Lunch
Bunches) featuring a healthy meal and guest program speaker. 55PLUS Lunch Bunch is generally
held the first Wednesday of each month. All 55PLUS members in the Marysville area are invited to the
monthly luncheon series.
The first 55PLUS program will be Wednesday, August 1, 2012 with guest speaker Kathy Wolf, who
serves as the 55PLUS Program Manager at Bryan/LGH in Lincoln. Wolf will introduce the 55PLUS
program and its membership benefits. The luncheon will be held in the South Plaza Conference
Room. CMH looks forward with great anticipation to the new 55PLUS program and its affiliation with
