Beatrice Man Killed in Single Vehicle Accident

59 year old Bruce A. Benash of Beatrice, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Saturday morning.   The accident occurred on West Chestnut Road approximately a ½ mile east of Southwest 100th Road. 

Benash was driving eastbound on East Chestnut Road when his vehicle left the road and collided with a bridge structure on the north side of the road. The collision caused the vehicle to roll onto the driver’s side and come to a rest in the middle of the road.  According to the Gage County Sheriff’s report alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
