GAGE COUNTY VOTERS GO TO THE POLLS TUESDAY FOR A PRIMARY ELECTION.  CANDIDATES WILL INCLUDE U S PRESIDENT, SENATOR, AND STATE REPRESENTATIVE AMONG OTHERS. 

THE BOARD OF REGENTS AND NORRIS PUBLIC POWER DISTRICT EACH HAS THREE CANDIDATES FILED.

 

ON THE COUNTY LEVEL, SIX REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES ARE ON THE TICKET FOR DISTRICT SIX COUNTY SUPERVISOR, WITH MARLIN KLIEWER, DANIEL HAWKINS, JOHN K-NABE, BRANSON HUSA, AND MARGARET MIKALIS CHALLENGING INCUMBANT REX ADAMS.  IN DISTRICT FOUR, STEVEN ARMSTRONG IS CHALLENGING DENNIS BYARS ON THE REPUBLICAN SIDE. 

 

THREE CANDIDATES EACH ARE ON THE BALLOT FOR BEATRICE CITY COUNCIL.  IN WARD ONE JASON SCHMAL, GARY BARNARD, AND PHILLIP COOK, AND WARD TWO ALLAN FETTY, TED FAIRBANKS, AND AND STAN STEERWALT.

 

CITY OF BEATRICE RESIDENTS WILL DECIDE A QUESTION OF FUNDING $250,000 ANNUALLY FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR TEN YEARS TOWARD AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP VOTERS WILL ADDRESS A TAX LEVY OVERRIDE.
