Clay Center Woman Injured in Accident Sunday Evening

A Clay Center woman was injured in a one vehicle accident Sunday evening at the U.S. 36/K 15 junction west of Washington. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Charlotte Kidwell of Clay Center was driving a 2002 Buick when she drove through the intersection, coming to rest about 130 feet off the roadway. Kidwell was transported by Washington EMS to the Clay County Medical Center. There was no report on how badly she was injured. Washington rescue also assisted at the accident.
