Sabetha Man Critically Injured In Explosion

Brockhoff Manufacturing owner, Roger Brockhoff, was working on a grain auger when the explosion occurred last Wednesday morning.  The exact cause of the explosion is unknown. Brockhoff is at the K-U Medical Center in Kansas City in the intensive care unit. He underwent surgery Thursday for facial fractures.

An employee, Wil Edelman, received minor injuries from the explosion.  Edelman was treated at the Sabetha Community Hospital and released.

Brockhoff is president of the Prairie Hills USD 113 Board of Education.
