KNDY AM 1570/FM 94.1 & FM 95.5 – Marysville, KS
The City of Marysville is urging all residents to limit sewer/waste water disposal this evening.
The pumps at the lagoon are down, due to a sewer force main break on the south side of U.S. Highway 36 just west of the Blue River Bridge. As a result, the pump stations are shut down pending repairs.
All Marysville city residents are strongly encouraged to limit showers, laundry, dishwashing, etc until the pumps are repaired, hopefully before midnight.
Because of the timing, you are also asked to contact friends or neighbors within the city of Marysville, making them aware of the situation, and asking their cooperation.
