Marysville School Board Hires New Football Coach

The Marysville Bulldogs have a new head football coach.  Eddie Minor, Leavenworth, was hired Wednesday night by Unified School District 364 board members.

Minor has been employed at Leavenworth High School since June 2010.  He was an assistant coach for the Leavenworth Pioneers who made the 6A playoffs last fall and finished district runner-up to Shawnee Mission West.

Minor served as head football coach in the Kansas City from 1988 to 1996 and in Leavenworth from 1996 to 2004.  From 2004 to 2010 he was part of the varsity coaching team at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park.  From 2008 to 2010 he coached again for Kansas City.  In June of 2010 he returned to Leavenworth. He is a physical education teacher.
