The Homestead Harmonizers will host its annual spring show this weekend. Shows will take place Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Hevelone Center at Beatrice High School.There will also be several quartets performing during the show as well as a guest quartet from Kansas City called Voices Unlimited who were Central State’s District champions.
Spilker said the Homestead Harmonizers has performers ranging in age from 12-years-old to gentlemen in their 80s. The Homestead Harmonizers is a barbershop chorus in Beatrice that began in December of 1988. It is part of the Central States District which is a five-state district that includes Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota.
