Beatrice Pharmacy Robbed

Beatrice Police and the Gage County Sheriff’s office are searching for a man who robbed Poling Drug Monday morning at approximately 9:45 a.m.  A man entered the backdoor of the business with a pistol, requested and was given the narcotic Percocet and left on foot.

Police conducted a search of the area but no one was found matching the suspect’s description.  Stoddard Elementary School, two blocks south of Poling Drug, was immediately notified and placed into a lockdown.  Eventually all Beatrice Schools were placed in lockdown.
