The Salvation Army is providing support to the town of Harveyville, Kansas after a tornado damaged much of the community.
A team of Salvation Army emergency disaster service (EDS) volunteers based out of Topeka has arrived in town with a mobile feeding kitchen to provide meals, snacks and drinks to first responders, survivors and clean-up crews. The Salvation Army is also offering emotional and spiritual support and will remain on the scene to identify on-going needs in the community.
