Peanut Butter Cup Burglars Strike

Reese Peanut Butter Cup Burglars strike the Blue Springs Methodist Church.

The Gage County Sheriff’s office is investigating a burglary of the Blue Springs Methodist Church that occurred between 1 p.m. and 10 a.m. on Monday.

According to the Gage County Sheriff report someone threw a brick through a window of a door and entered the church.  The burglars opened a cash box, but the church does not keep money at the church.

Apparently the Burglars were hungry and ate a package of Reese’s peanut butter cups they found while at the church.

Anybody with information on the burglary should contact the Gage County Sheriff’s Office at 402-223-5221 to speak with Investigator John Chavez, or call Crime stoppers at 402-228-4343.

A person who calls can remain anonymous and if the information obtained leads to an arrest, that person may be eligible for a cash reward.
