Two Injured in Accident South of Centralia

Two people were injured in a one vehicle accident eight miles south of Centralia.  The Kansas Highway Patrol Reported the accident occurred on Monday at approximately 9 p.m. 

According to the report Laura Marie Heffner, age 29, of Centralia was driving a van southbound on G Road when the vehicle slid of the road and into a guide wire.  A passenger in the vehicle, Derek Lee Beerbower of Lawrence was also injured.  Both were taken to Onaga Community Hospital.
