Blue Rapids Museum Work Moves Forward

            The Blue Rapids Museum will install a new roof in April.  After 2 years of fund raising and donations.  The local goal was to match $20,000 Larry Parsons would donate.  

            Shortly after Christmas an anonymous donor presented a check for $10,000 to the museum.  According to a press release the museum has accepted a bid from Geisler Roofing & Home Improvement of Concordia for the new roofing.  Pat Osborne, museum curator said the next step includes floor repair, electrical wiring and lights, insulation and wallboard and furnace/air conditioning.
