Marysville Man Arrested for Drug Possession in Beatrice

Beatrice police responded to a call reporting a suspicious SUV parked in an area that is not open for unauthorized vehicles.  Officers found Volgar near the vehicle.

 Police asked Volgar for consent to search his person and the vehicle. Volgar agreed.  Officers found was a glass pipe with marijuana residue, a pill bottle with no label and several pills inside, syringes, a metal measuring spoon and a tin with a white crystalline substance.  Volgar could not produce prescriptions for the pills. The crystalline substance tested positive for methamphetamine.

Volgar was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of prescription narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
