Area residents were treated to two concerts over the weekend by the Marshall County Community Choir. Performances were held at the Waterville Opera House on Saturday and the Presbyterian Church in Marysville on Sunday. Both performances were well attended by the community.
The choir led by Maybelle Circle, performed arrangements of traditional and modern Christmas songs. Over 40 area residents performed with the choir. The concert also included performances by several smaller groups, several duets, and a solo. After receiving a well deserved standing ovation following the performance at the Presbyterian Church many in the audience commented the quality of the performance was amazing.
The concerts were free to the public and all the members of the choir are volunteers.
