Garage fire in Marysville Saturday Morning.

A fire early Saturday morning destroyed a detached garage in the alley in the 200 block of South Eighth Street in Marysville.  Firemen were called to the scene shortly after 7 am, and the structure was completely engulfed in flames.  The multiple car garage was vacant, and is to the north end of the Lincoln Center’s Pathway House.  An adjacent garage just east, owned by Leoti Morsch of Marysville was also damaged on the west side and roof. However firemen were able to save it, and avoided the fire spreading to nearby houses.  No cause was immediately determined.   Firemen were on the scene for about an hour and half.

The garage was to be sold, and renovated for storage.
