KSHSAA 6A CHAMPIONSHIP WILL AIR ON FOX SPORTS KANSAS CITY PLUS
5A CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE STREAMED ON FOXSPORTSKANSASCITY.COM
The Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) 6A football championship will be televised live by FOX Sports Kansas City this Saturday.
The game will air on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus, a channel used by FOX Sports Midwest to simultaneously show multiple events on two channels, due to overlap with the Missouri-Kansas Big 12 football game. It will be also be streamed live on FOXSportsKansasCity.com. Kickoff between Olathe South (11-1) and Wichita Heights (12-0) is scheduled for 1 p.m. from Washburn University’s Yager Stadium in Topeka. Veteran Kansas City television executive and announcer Neil Harwell will call the play-by-play with Kansas City Chiefs TV host and former Washburn linebacker Josh Looney as analyst.
In addition, FOXSportsKansasCity.com will stream the Class 5A championship between Stilwell-Blue Valley and Hutchinson, live at 1 p.m. from Welch Stadium at Emporia State University. Robert Ford of KCSP-AM in Kansas City will call the action.
This is the first year in which FOX Sports Kansas City will televise and stream KSHSAA championship events. The 6A football championship game will also air nationally on FOX College Sports, on delay on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. CT.
These telecasts and streams will be produced by Niles Media Group of Kansas City, in partnership with When We Were Young Productions.
