On Monday, September 26, deputies of the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to Blue Springs. The reporting party advised that a black vehicle was tearing around by their house. The reporting party was able to provide the vehicle’s license number and Deputies leaned the vehicle was stolen out of Jefferson County.
A deputy located the vehicle traveling north near S. 36th and Locust. A short pursuit ensued before the driver of the stolen vehicle drove it into a cornfield and the three subjects inside the vehicle fled on foot through the cornfield.
Two of the occupants were apprehended, both male juveniles. The third suspect was not located.
