The 400 block of Broadway officially opened for traffic on Tuesday Night. The repairs included curbs, colored concrete, waterline installation, and electrical wiring for streetlights. On Monday Marysville City Council approved the purchase and installation of three streetlights. Marysville City Administrator Rick Shane said the final cost of the project is not yet known.
Off street parking was also added to increase parking. The parking spaces were added to provide additional parking for customers of local businesses. The businesses include a new store called the Trails and Rails. Owner Dave Lyhane said the store is designed to be a destination for travelers and local citizens. The store will be a combination of convenience store, grocery store and restaurant. Lyhane said he expects Trails and Rails to open December 1st.
