Marysville Srs Office Not Required to Keep 11 Employees

SRS is not required to maintain the current level of staffing at the Marysville Office, according to the agreement published by the SRS Secretary.  According to the agreement the SRS agrees not to close the Marysville Office and to operate it at substantially the same level as the current service through November 2013.  This is subject to the funding assistance being provided by the City of Marysville and other sources.  According to the agreement the SRS Secretary agrees to the keep the Marysville Office open and operating at substantially the same level of current service but there is no specific requirement for the staffing of the Marysville SRS office.  Saving and keeping the jobs local was cited by several of the groups involved as one reason to financially support the local office.  Currently the office employees eleven people.
