Former Famers Union Co-op/Cenex employee Jodi R. Dewey was bound over to District Court Friday afternoon.
Dewey is charged with unauthorized use of a financial transaction device ($1,500 or more) and theft by unlawful taking ($1,500 or more.)
During an audit Officials with Farmers Union Co-op/Cenex in Beatrice found discrepancies amounting to $113,844. An investigation by the Beatrice Police Department lead to officials to believe Dewey is allegedly responsible for the discrepancies.
Both charges against Dewey are Class IV felonies and each carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison if convicted.
Dewey’s next scheduled court date is Dec. 1 in the district courtroom
