Medicare Part D enrollment period approaching

AS THE MEDICARE PART D ENROLLMENT PERIOD APPROACHES BEGINNING IN OCTOBER, SENIOR CITIZENS MAY AGAIN HAVE QUESTIONS REGARDING MEDICARE, THE PART D OPTION, AND RELATED BENEFITS. K STATE RESEARCH AND EXTENSION IS OFFERING A PROGRAM ENTITLED MEDICARE BASICS FOR BOOMERS AND BEYOND, IN JUNCTION CITY, MANHATTAN, AND MARYSVILLE OCTOBER 10-12. IF YOU ARE TURING 65 IN THE NEXT SIX MONTHS TO A YEAR, ASSIST YOUR PARENTS OR OTHERS WITH MEDICAL INSURANCE, OR ARE CONFUSED WITH OPTIONS, THE PROGRAM MAY BE HELPFUL. THE FREE TWO HOUR CLASS WILL BE HELD MONDAY OCT 10, 6:30 – 8:30 AT THE JUNCTION CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY, ON TUESDAY OCT 11 6-8 PM AT POTTORF HALL AT CICO PARK IN MANHATTAN, AND FINALLY IN MARYSVILLE AT THE MARSHALL COUNTY COURTHOUSE MEETING ROOM ON WEDNESDAY OCT 12, FROM 6:30 – 8:30 PM. THE PROGRAM IS FREE, AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THE MARSHALL COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.
