Fairbury Police Searching for Eleven Stolen Firearms

The Fairbury Police Department is investigating the theft of 11 firearms from a Fairbury business early Sunday morning.

According to a press release from Fairbury Police Chief Chad Sprunk, officers discovered a broken window at the Bruce Swartz Agency Inc. in the 500 block of Fifth Street at about 3:50 a.m. on Sunday.

An inventory of the business revealed eight pistols and three rifles were missing. Anyone with information about the crime is encouraged to call the Fairbury Police at 402-729-3355.
