Former Gage County Officer Faces Assault Charges

Former Gage County law enforcement officer Terry Stiles appeared for a hearing on Friday. Stiles faces third degree assault of a child charges from events that allegedly occurred in the summer of 2009.

The trial is scheduled to begin on September 27th and is scheduled for three days. A conviction of third degree sexual assault of a child could result in a maximum penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
