Four Injured in Accident Saturday

Marshall County Sheriff’s Office released the official accident report today for an injury accident that occurred Saturday on Highway 36 east of Marysville.  Four People were injured Saturday afternoon when a westbound vehicle driven by Lisa Ohlsen, Seneca, attempted to pass a semi.  According to the report Ohlsen saw oncoming traffic, swerved to the right to avoid the traffic and lost control of the vehicle.  The vehicle swerved to the left, crossed the center line and hit an eastbound vehicle head on.

The eastbound vehicle was driven by Janice Studer of Beattie.  Studer was extricated from her vehicle and transported by helicopter to Bryan LGH in Lincoln.  Ohlsen and two passengers, ages 7 and 13 were transported by ambulance to Community Memorial Hospital.
