Former Wymore Man Captured and Charged with First Degree Murder

A former Wymore man wanted for the murder of his wife has been arrested in Buena Vista, Colorado. 54 year old Daniel Chapman was arrested Wednesday evening at a home in Buena Vista, Colorado. Chapman in charged with first-degree murder in the death of 55 year old Sandra Chapman on August 11 at a convenience store the couple owned in Cabool, Missouri.

According to Wymore School officials Daniel Chapman attended Wymore High School, but did not graduate. His wife Sandra Chapman, formerly Sandra Little, graduated from Beatrice High School.

According to reports from Cabool a witness told police that he saw Chapman shoot his wife as she ran toward the door. He then saw Dan Chapman drive away.

Chapman allegedly had the murder weapon with him when he was captured. His bond has been set at $5 Million dollars.
