Semi Accident on Highway 77 Sends 1 to Hospital.

The Kansas Highway Patrol worked a semi accident on Hwy 77 about a tenth of a mile north of hwy 36 Wednesday afternoon. According to the report, the semi was northbound on Hwy 77 when the driver lost control of the truck, entered the east ditch and went down the embankment, striking the creek bed at the base of the embankment. The truck came to rest straddling the creek. The driver of the truck, 76-year old Gary Armagost of Fremont, NE was Life Flighted to Topeka with unknown injuries. It’s unknown if he was wearing a seatbelt.
