Owner of submerged truck identified.

The Gage County Sheriff’s Dept has identified and located the owner of the pickup that was found in a lake in eastern Gage County last week.  The owner of the pickup, Robert H. Lamb, formerly of Wymore.  Lamb told officials he had been fishing at the lake in 2002 or 2003 when his wife at the time inadvertently failed to put the pickup in gear while parking it, rolling into the lake.  Lamb had made arrangements at that time to have it removed, which he thought it had been.  Gage County officials are requesting that Lamb reimburse the county for expenses incurred for having the pickup removed from the lake and overtime pay for those that had to work during the 4th of July weekend when the pickup was found.
