A Topeka man convicted of wounding a Marshall County Sheriff‘s deputy and taking an elderly Blue Rapids woman hostage last June has been sentenced to nearly 83 ½ years in prison.
District Judge John Weingart sentenced 44-year-old Stephen Macomber Friday on 10 felony counts-including attempted first-degree murder and kidnapping– in two separate cases.
