Marysville Announces Memorial Day Programs

Memorial Day programs will begin with Services at the Spring Creek Bridge, south edge of Marysville, will be at 8 a.m. Decorating of the water will be by the Boy and Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Brownies with flags and flowers. The service will conclude with the flag salute and taps.

Scouting organizations of Marysville will decorate graves at 9 a.m.

The program at the Marysville City Cemetery begins at 10 a.m. with a musical tribute by the Marshall County Community Band. The ceremony at the Mound will be at 10:30 a.m. There will be a shuttle service from the chapel at the cemetery to the mound area, and seating and water will be provided for the honorees.

The program will be “An Honor to Our World War II Veterans.”
