Washington County Election Results

In Washington County, just 23% of registered voters turned out, with most races for school boards and city positions largely uncontested.

Kenneth Johnson and Dana CeCerle are tied with 67 votes for position three, USD 108 Washington County School Board.  Jill Hoover defeated Rob Baker for position seven with 62% of the ballots.

Vic Wilson won Hanover Mayor, with 55% of the total versus Dan SeeBurger.

For Washington City Council, top two of five candidates were selected.  Justin Cordry 38%, and Gene Martin with 35% of the votes.

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communication.
