District Judge Jim Patton sentenced Jason Brammer Tuesday in Marshall County District Court to 52 months in prison on a charge of involuntary manslaughter while driving under the influence of alcohol and to 6 months in jail on a charge of driving without liability insurance.
Brammer was found guilty of the charges by a Marshall County jury in March following a two-day trial.
Court documents say Brammer was driving a vehicle that collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Taylor White on October 4th, 2009 on a county road southeast of Marysville. White was killed in the wreck.
The Kansas Attorney General‘s office prosecuted the case.
