The body of a Marysville man found on Saturday in Lincoln likely died from falling from a train while it passed through downtown Lincoln.
The Lincoln Journal-Star reports that 22-year-old Brandon Roth was staying at an area motel while building grain bins.
According to Lincoln police Captain David Beggs, Roth was out with a group of people drinking, and decided to walk across the railroad tracks rather than use an overpass.
Beggs believes that Roth got on a train and fell about two miles away and was struck by the train.
Roth’s body was spotted by a train engineer at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
