Escapee Still At-large

The search continues for a prisoner who escaped from the Richardson County Jail early Sunday morning.

Sheriff Randy Houser reported a Holt County, Missouri farmer found 36-year-old Michael Thompson in a barn about 8 a-m Sunday morning. The farmer did not know Thompson was an escaped prisoner and gave him a ride to the Eagles Nest Truck Stop along Interstate 29.

Thompson is originally from Arkansas and is believed to be headed south.
