Dierks Bentley will headline the 2011 Jagermeister County Tour which will be stopping in Salina on April 27th. This 30 city tour will feature special guest Nashville singer Josh Thompson and new singing duo Miss Willie Brown. Each concert will also feature a local Jagermeister sponsored country act.
Bentley is currently in Nashville working on new material for his next album. Fans can expect the first single this spring. The new album follows in the footsteps of Bentley’s blue grass-based “Up on the Ridge” which recently received three Grammy nominations.
Thompson debuted last year with “Way Out Here.” Thompson wrote or co-wrote all 10 tracks on the album including the current single, “Won’t Be Lonely Long”, which follows previous hits “Way Out Here” and “Beer on the Table.”
Amanda Watkins and Kasey Buckley comprise the new country duo “Miss Willie Brown” and will round out the show. They are currently recording in Nashville with award winning producer Keith Stegall, (Zac Brown Band and Alan Jackson) and will release their lead single in the coming months. The duo recently became the only unsigned band to ever perform on a national talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Tickets will go on sale February 4th at 8:00 am. Ticket prices are $41.50 and $31.50. All seats are reserved. You can purchase tickets in person at the Salina Bicentennial Center Box office or on-line at www.bicentennial.org.
