‘Remember Our Fallen’ a photo exhibit to honor of Midwest soldiers who have lost their lives since Sept. 11, 2001 will be displayed at the Homestead National Monument.
Bill and Evonne Williams created the exhibit which features photos of 98 fallen soldiers from Nebraska and West Iowa. Bill Williams said every Nebraska soldier represented in the display died while serving America in the war on terror. The exhibit started at the Strategic Air and Space Museum near Ashland, where Evonne Williams is the interim director.
The exhibit made its first stop in Fremont and will ultimately travel to 34 communities, before arriving at the state capital in November.
