Brittany Griswold Homecoming Queen Candidate at Cloud County

(CONCORDIA, KS) — The Cloud County Community College basketball teams will take on Hutchinson Community College Saturday evening, Jan. 29 in the Winter Homecoming games at the Concordia campus.

Carleen Nordell, CCCC Student Senate sponsor, announced the homecoming candidates this week. The crowning ceremony will take place at approximately 7:45 p.m. in between the women’s and men’s basketball games.

Queen candidates are Brittany Griswold, Marysville, Kan; Bryte Moore, Kansas City, Missouri; Daja De Hayward, Sacramento, Calif; Kylie Moore, Glen Elder, Kan.; and Taylor Allen, Wakefield, Kan. Candidates for king are Cameron Taylor, Kansas City, Kan; Craig Rogers, Ellesmere Port, England; Johnnie Mastin, Concordia, Kan.; Mohamed Fall, Dakar, Senegal; and Ty Modupe, Indianapolis Indiana.

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communication.
