Attempted Burglary at Blue Springs Keno

On January 19, 2011 at approximately 0300 hrs, Gage County Communications was contacted by a security company advising them of an intrusion alarm at Blue Springs Keno, 619 W. Broad St. in Blue Springs.  When deputies arrived, they found the back door had been pried open.  A tool, which was presumably used to pry the door, was found nearby.  It appeared that the alarm had frightened away whoever tried to break in.  Nothing was taken and nothing was out of place.  Investigation continues.
