BELOIT — Beloit police are looking for a missing 14-year-old girl who was last heard from Wednesday.

Shelby Eck left her residence at 915 N. Mill in Beloit Tuesday evening and was reported as a runaway Wednesday morning, according to a statement from Beloit Police Chief Ryan Stocker.

Eck was reported to be wearing pink “skinny” jeans and a white-and-pink-striped shirt. The 5-foot-8-inch girl has blue eyes, blonde hair, a light complexion and weighs about 140 pounds. She has identifying scars on the inner side of her left forearm, the statement said.

Anyone who has contact with or sees Eck is asked to call the Beloit Police Department at (785) 738-2203 or make online contact with the Mitchell County Crimestoppers at http://www.mccrimestoppers.org, where the tip could lead to a cash reward.
