A Frankfort man charged with involuntary manslaughter while under the influence of alcohol and driving a vehicle without liability insurance will exercise his right to a jury trial in March. Jason Brammer, age 29, of Frankfort was arrested and charged in connection with a head-on collision in 2009 that claimed the life of a Marysville man. Brammer pled no guilty to the charges in Marshall County District Court.
A three-day jury trial in the case is set to begin March 14th.
According to law enforcement reports In October of 2009 Brammer was driving a vehicle on a county road southeast of Marysville. Brammers vehicle collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Taylor White. White was killed in the wreck.
The Kansas Attorney General Office is prosecuting the case.
