Garage and Home Damaged By Fire on Christmas

A rural Odell family’s house caught fire at approximately 9 p.m. on Christmas Day.  Odell and Rural Beatrice Firefighters responded to a house fire about two and one half miles west of the Odell black top.  A garage was engulfed in flames.  Firefighters extinquished the flames but the fire did damage the interior of some of the homes rooms.  The Nebraska Fire Marshall is in charge of the investigation.
