Washington County Sheriff’s Report

On 113010 on K 9 at Jade Road Stacy Lange, Clifton driving a 2005 Chevrolet struck deer.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported. 

On 120110 the Barnes Fire Department was dispatched just east of the Coop in Barnes for the report of a grass fire.

On 120210 an officer was dispatched to the 200 Peach Street, Clifton the middle school for the report of a verbal dispute.  No arrests were made.

On 120210 on 20^th Road ½ mile east of 1894 20^th Road Leann Martin, Hanover driving a 2003 Chevrolet struck deer.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported. 

On 120310 the Clifton Fire Department was dispatched to 531 10^th Road for a car fire. 

On 120310 in the Washington High School Parking Lot Lauren Holtmeier, Washington driving a 1997 Chevrolet was struck by a 1994 Chevrolet driven by Daniel Holle, Riley who was attempting to park in a parking space.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported. 

On 120410 on US 36 at MM 269 Luis Saldivar-Garcia, Kansas City Kansas was arrested by the Kansas Highway Patrol on pending charges of Driving while suspended.  Saldivar- Garcia was held at the Washington County Jail until his release on bond.  A report will be forwarded to the county attorney.

On 120410 the Morrowville Fire Department was dispatched to K 15 and 28^th Roads for a truck fire. 

On 120410 on Liberty Road ¾ mile south of 4^th Road Marcy Oehmke, Palmer driving a 2002 Chevrolet struck deer.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported. 

On 120510 the Washington Fire Department was dispatched to 402 Pierce Street Washington for a brush fire.
