OFFENSE: Animal Neglect
On October 27th, 2010, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office received a report of possible neglect stemming from the personal sale of a canine to a citizen. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that there were approximately in excess of one hundred dogs at the residence in various states of health. While conducting the investigation, it was determined by the deputies on scene that the living conditions for the animals were unacceptable due to the overall condition of the residence.
