Gage County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous reports involving burglaries in the past couple of months in the south central area of the county.  The burglaries have not only occurred during the evening hours but also during the daytime hours.  The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind citizens to lock their doors, not only to their residence, but also to any out buildings.  It should be noted that a common way for individuals to enter the residence is to ask to use the phone or restroom.  If this or any other suspicious activity should occur, please contact the Gage County Sheriff’s Office at 402.223.5221.  If there is an emergency, please call 911.  If you have had items stolen from your property or have knowledge of other burglaries, please contact the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and ask to speak with Investigator John Chavez.
Sheriff Millard “Gus” Gustafson #903
Investigator John Chavez #9036
