OFFENSE: Single vehicle rollover accident
CASE: 2010-5145
On October 26, 2010 at approximately 1445 hours, Gage County Communications advised of a single vehicle rollover accident. The occupant of the vehicle was trapped inside the vehicle.
Upon arrival, rescue personnel and Sheriff’s deputies located 36 year old Debbie Milligan of Beatrice inside of the vehicle. Milligan was extricated and transported to Beatrice Community Hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
Milligan was driving her tan 1993 Ford Taurus westbound on Oak Road from South 1st when she lost control of her vehicle and traveled into the south ditch. The vehicle struck the bottom of the ditch causing the vehicle to go airborne. Her vehicle rolled one and a half times before arriving at final rest in the south ditch partially in a corn field.
Seatbelts were not in use and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
Responding units to the accident were Beatrice Rescue, Beatrice Rural Fire, and the Gage County Sheriffs Office.
