Fatality accident on Highway 36

An Arizona man was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in Marshall County about 15 miles west of Seneca.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 59-year-old Gary Houk of Williams, Arizona was traveling west on U.S. 36 highway when his pickup crossed the center line and struck a flatbed trailer carrying a grain cart that was being pulled by an eastbound truck.
Houk was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the truck, 62-year-old Richard Synoground of Agra, Kansas, was not hurt. The accident was reported around 4:40 Thursday afternoon.
