Washington County Sheriff’s Report

On 090410 on K 9 ½ mile SW of 7th Road Mariah Moody, Linn driving a 1975 Dodge went off roadway, over corrected, lost control of vehicle, crossed the highway and went up embankment.  Moody was taken by Linn EMS to Washington County Hospital.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00.  Moody was issued a citation for No Valid DL. 

On 090410 on US 36 ½ mile west of K 15 Louis Crago, Camdenton Missouri, driving a 1995 Chrysler struck deer.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported. 

On 090910 on Ohio Street at 1st Street in Palmer Ned Peters, Palmer driving a 2004 Chevrolet failed to stop at stop sign and struck a 2003 Dodge driven by Scott Mueller, Palmer.  Peters was issued a citation for Failure to Stop at Stop Sign.  No injuries were reported.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00.

On 091010 at the intersection of 6th and B Streets in Washington Cody Hattesohl, Washington driving a 2006 Kia was stopped at stop sign when his foot slipped off of brake and he struck a 2002 GMC driven by Christina Meyn, Washington.  Hattesohl was issued a citation for no current registration.  No injuries were reported.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00      

On 091110 the Linn, Palmer and Barnes fire departments were dispatched to 116 North Ohio Street, Palmer for a trailer house fire. 

On 091110 Dollar General Store, Washington reported an incident of shoplifting that had just occurred.  As a result Lasean Dowd, Linn was arrested on pending charges of theft.  Dowd was held at the Washington County Jail until her release on bond.  A report will be forwarded to the county attorney.

On 091210 the Hanover Fire Department was dispatched to the Hanover Hospital to assist with the landing of lifestar. 

On 091210 on 18th Road .3 miles east of Osage Road Timmie Pinnick, Washington driving a 2001 Nissan lost control on gravel went off roadway and ended in a tree line.  Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported.
